The group rode hard back from fighting Skalmad and returned to Moonstair to defend the city. The took out a group of worgs and a worgmaster on the outskirts of town, rode to the southern bay and fought a group of kuo toa and chuul monsters. Then they headed back to the heart of town, where they fought off three waves of attacks including wyverns, troglodyts, Manticore, trolls, nothics, ogre and a blghtborn demnnthorn spawning plant.

The group survived and learned some more about the history of Skalmad and in partiuclar the Eye of Moran that he wields is ancient Fomorian magic from the Fey. The only way to destroy it is to throw it into the stone cauldron.

Also parker found a harp, and a dick ton of grain to keep in his bag of holding.

The group successfully cleared out 4 more encounters, and killed the first iteration of Skalmad the evil troll. With only 4 members tonight it was a bit slower than normal but they were successful none the less. They successfully killed two powerful clans of troglodytes and then made their way through 2 camps of trolls and finally were able to rest! Unfortunately it appears Skalmad is going to resurrect with even more power and the town of Moonstair has been attacked while they are gone.

The group left the underground minotaur city held by wizards and headed up north to manage a threat of trolls. Justin and Connor successfully hit on some sluts, critically rolled their way into bed but critically missed completion.

Then the group headed east and managed to beat a series of encounters with trolls and kill an old skull obsessed troll. Justin was jealous as fuck. And then the group headed up and took out an angry black dragon.

Another good night!

The group killed off the abomination form of Karavakos on floor 2 and found a vampiric rogue and a fairy bard caught in his trap. They then battled there way through the undead 3rd floor and killed that version of Karavakos. After which they solved the riddle involving the three keys and ventured to the final floor of the Pyramid. They struggled through killing the true form of Karavakos but eventually succeded. (not without killing parker, and ken and a variety of others, stupid justin was outside of his death burst!). Then as the pyramid crumbled away around them they were greeted by a suprised group of the Mages from Thunderspire Labryinth who was shocked to realize they had gone missing for 25 years in the real world during their time in the labryinth.

the group battled through an annoying ice battle, then killed an ice dragon and then ventured south toward the 2nd shard of Karavakos. Progress has been excellent and they are very close to level 10.

Sleazy died 3 times.

Session 18

The group successfully cleared out the first floor and killed the first shard of Karavakos. They had to defeat some dazed dealing creatures and then kill the lightening wielding mage. The group then progressed to the 2nd floor. Here the first found some hell spawn creatures that they disposed of. Then they cleared the first riddle door (except parker who takes 10 damage each time he rolls a natural 1 for the next 5 encounters). Then they beat a medusa and an ogre before clearing the 2nd riddle. This concluded the night!

The group efficiently cleared out the entire charnal sector of the pyramid killing some harpies with herpies, and wally did a dance in a bone pile for 4 rounds afterwords. Then they advanced to the human section and killed some nasty archers, failed a skill check challenge and then took out the human leader and a werewolf.

The group found some awesome armor and found 2 of the 3 vyrellis shards. They still need to find the Karavakos shard on this floor before they can move onto the 2nd floor.

well the group flew through 5 encounters.

Our drow assassin decided to stay behind and become a permanent part of the pyramid, instead a minotaur barbarian joined the group and laid down the law. The group battled its way though a a stink lord, some fire inspired mirrors and eventually found Vyrellis body. They killed the body (with negative satisfaction to wally) and ventured further on to kill a very unhappy frost mage.

The group has become untrustful of Vyrellis but have come to the conclusion that she is either a bitch, useful, or both.

Either way, another fun night!

The group left the Seven Pillared Hall and headed north in the Winterbole Forest. There they found a group of dwarfs, humans and a drake that were trying to enter a pyramid in the forest. After destroying these foes the group found an image of Karavakos who tricked the group into entering the “prism”/“prison”.

They teleported into a 30 foot pit of bodies and killed a couple carrion crawlers, 3 zombies and a head-fetish ogre. Then they found the disembodied head of Vyrellis. They found out the back story of Karavakos and they headed south into the Verdant Ruin. On the way they killed multiple Aroborean’s, a delicious boar, a satyr, 3 plant mounds, a tree ent, and black bear.

Also the group successfully exploded barrels of goo (dealing 6d10 damage and incinerating everything!)

The group succesfully made its way into the Wizard Paldemar’s Tower and battled their way to the highest floor. After many long battles and the group out of healing surges, and any way to heal they finally took out the mage and scored a large stash of magic weaponry. The group now has access to 1/2 off magic items of level 8 or lower from the mages at the tower and found a map mentioning extreme arcane power from a source to the north near the woods.
