The group efficiently cleared out the entire charnal sector of the pyramid killing some harpies with herpies, and wally did a dance in a bone pile for 4 rounds afterwords. Then they advanced to the human section and killed some nasty archers, failed a skill check challenge and then took out the human leader and a werewolf.

The group found some awesome armor and found 2 of the 3 vyrellis shards. They still need to find the Karavakos shard on this floor before they can move onto the 2nd floor.

well the group flew through 5 encounters.

Our drow assassin decided to stay behind and become a permanent part of the pyramid, instead a minotaur barbarian joined the group and laid down the law. The group battled its way though a a stink lord, some fire inspired mirrors and eventually found Vyrellis body. They killed the body (with negative satisfaction to wally) and ventured further on to kill a very unhappy frost mage.

The group has become untrustful of Vyrellis but have come to the conclusion that she is either a bitch, useful, or both.

Either way, another fun night!

The group left the Seven Pillared Hall and headed north in the Winterbole Forest. There they found a group of dwarfs, humans and a drake that were trying to enter a pyramid in the forest. After destroying these foes the group found an image of Karavakos who tricked the group into entering the “prism”/“prison”.

They teleported into a 30 foot pit of bodies and killed a couple carrion crawlers, 3 zombies and a head-fetish ogre. Then they found the disembodied head of Vyrellis. They found out the back story of Karavakos and they headed south into the Verdant Ruin. On the way they killed multiple Aroborean’s, a delicious boar, a satyr, 3 plant mounds, a tree ent, and black bear.

Also the group successfully exploded barrels of goo (dealing 6d10 damage and incinerating everything!)

The group succesfully made its way into the Wizard Paldemar’s Tower and battled their way to the highest floor. After many long battles and the group out of healing surges, and any way to heal they finally took out the mage and scored a large stash of magic weaponry. The group now has access to 1/2 off magic items of level 8 or lower from the mages at the tower and found a map mentioning extreme arcane power from a source to the north near the woods.

The crew succesfully navigated a series of deadly mirrors (naturally justin burned the only defense they had), annihilated gigantic minotaur traps before they even had a chance to attack (thanks wally) and survived the pillars of corpses to attain all 3 of the magical runes.

They then placed the runes in the trial center and summoned the green dragon. The group was extremely successful in killing the dragon and then teleported into the bosses room. Here they learned of the connection between the gnolls and wizard Paldemar (who has turned evil) from the group of mages in the seven pillared hall. They disposed of the gnoll leader, Maldrick, and found a silver key that leads to the evil wizards tower near the seven pillared hall.

The group returned to the Seven Pillared Hall and talked with the Ordinator Arcanis and discussed a trade in which they will find out what happened to the missing mage Paldemar in return for 50% off on all magical items for sale. On their own time justin banged a drow slut while holding a skull for 26 gold and parker beat a small kobold in a drinking contest. They fell into a trap with a large bronze warder and found some scrolls indicating that Paldemar was working with the Blackfang Gnolls in the Demon Well.

The group progressed to the well and killed some tentacle mother fuckers and then went and saved a giant dire boar who was being tortured. Unfortunately they started to crave bacon and were faced with the age old dilemma: to eat or not to eat your pet. Reason won in the end and they let the dire boar escape. After that they went on and found the first of the 4 rune keys (the book) that was being traded possibly between a gnoll and 2 tieflings. The group then progressed north and took out the hyenas in the pen along with their gnoll masters.

To end the night the group went down the dark pathway and had a long discussion with 3 ghosts concerning the history of the Demon Well. 3 more rune keys are left to be found.

Wow what a great night! The group adventured deeper and deeper into the Horned Hold. After their 1st encounter they found a couple of slaves and didn’t know what to do with them … naturally wally gave one of them the peoples elbow so hard through a table that he fractured ones rib cage and killed him. The other one they used as cannon fodder over a bridge into the next room. After that the group so demoralized a group of deurgars by slaying their mage in 1 shot that the remaining deurgar jumped off the bridge comitting suicide. They decided to continue into a room of undead wights and battled hard to create a safe place to rest up. They delved deeper and found the slave pits and killed all the demons and deurgar that run the pits, in fact Justin frooze a heavy clad dwarf in the pool and he drowned to death, bad ass! To finish the group slayed the deurgar leader Murklemor and found a bad ass totem. OHH, and the groups tank had to afk for an hour to slay a bat!

The group returned to Seven Pillared Hall and told the Ordinator Arcanis about the Duergar who were in the Chamber of Eyes. The ordinator was interested and offered the group magical items if they uncovered the duergar’s interest in slave trade.

The group then spoke to the Duergars present at the outpost and they got really pissed and destroyed all the Duergars who were present there. After that they found a map that lead the group to a place called the Horned Hold which is apparently the headquarters for the Duergars. They adventured into the hold and killed 2 groups of orcs/duergars and then killed the weapon smith. They were starting to cross the bridge into the next section of the Horned Hold but then everyone got too drunk and went to sleep.

After a 6 week hiatus the group reformed after killing Lord Kalarel and headed towards Thunderspire Labryinth to take out the Bloodreavers. This is a group of hobgoblins who is running a slave trade group primarily through a place called the Chamber of Eyes.

Once the group arrived at Seven Pillared Hall in the heart of the labyrinth they encountered Brugg, a tall ogre asshole. He demanded to be given 200 gold for entrance into the city and was challeneged by guzzle to a drink off. Instead Brugg punched swamp thing over and over again making him feel like a dick. Afterwords Cohen aka mage libaracci spoke with the Ordinator Arcanis (acting mage head) and agreed to help out the cause to kill the blood reavers in exchange for the ability to not have to pay to trade in the city and the ability to trade with the mages at a later point in time.

The group then headed into the chamber of eyes and took out the bloodreavers. They now intend to head back to the Seven Pillared Hall to discuss their successes with various people.

wow, 5 encounters = the awesome. The group has succesfully killed lord kalarel and has cleared the dungeon. Parker is now the proud owner of 1500 lbs of acidic ooze. Wally got a swag ass +2 dagger and Lord Kalarel cried out to “Thunderspire Labryinth, beware they are coming” in a magical voice that seemed to echo louder than any sound the group has heard before. He was then dragged into the portal of darkenss that was opened by Lord Orcus.
